A Message from the Director...

Hello Everyone,

It has been an exceptional week at JMW!  On Tuesday, Heifetz on Tour came to visit JMW and conducted a live workshop with our Chorus Students.  It was amazing to see both groups collaborate on music pieces together.  On Thursday, some of our students performed at Hasbro's World Culture Day.  They performed skits, sang and ready poetry.  On Friday, Anne Mulhall, Hollywood Casting Director, came to visit the Seniors in preparation for Graduation.  Anne will be the Guest Speaker at this year's commencement ceremonies.  The week ended with the Senior Dance Concert at Goff Middle School.   Our Senior Dancers outdid themselves. The talent was tremendous and I could not be more proud of their endeavors.  Pictures will be forthcoming.

This week marks a momentous occasion for JMW:  The debut of our first musical, Beauty and the Beast.  The production will be on Friday, May 26th at 7:00pm, Saturday, May 27th at 7:00pm and Sunday, May 28th at 1:00pm.  Tickets are $10.00 for general admission and $7.00 for Students and Senior Citizens.  Be sure to reserve your tickets today!

Please note that on May 24th, there will be early dismissal for students at 11:15am.  Senior Portfolio Presentations will take place from 11:30 to 2:20pm.  All students, grades 9-11, must leave the building at 11:15am.  Please make proper arrangements.

Until Next Week,

Ricardo Pimentel, JMW Director
